24 Facts about me..

  1. I don’t drink alcohol like I use to sometimes. I love feeling not hungover and am actually allergic to alcohol and about 90 percent of food.
  2. I eat enough through the day but I make most of my food; I gave up fast food; however my favourite places to eat out are anywhere that caters to my corn allergy which isn’t too many places but theres a couple.
  3. I love cafes; sitting in a nice cafe reading sipping a matcha is heaven.
  4. I Love dancing but due to some health issues and the trauma I have been through and am still in recovery from I have not been able to commit to dancing more. I still love it though.
  5. I can be a bit of a shopaholic for clothes. Generally though I shop at surf shops, sportsgirl, markets and places like that. Not ultra expensive. I sometimes like places like David Jones and Suzanne Grae and nice boutiques but I can also shop at Kmart and op shops and find some gems.
  6. I dyed my hair brown as I was afraid of having an allergic reaction to blond foils. I was blond when I was little but I have also been brown, dark brown and red and once purple (won’t be going purple again). I think I probably suit blonde more. Am brown for now and like it. I also had to disconnect from some of my old identity as I wanted to grow as a person and so the change felt right to me.
  7. I really wanted to make a difference to the world. When I was younger going through profound trauma shaped some of my personality and spirit. Adult trauma reassessed some of my values and knowing my identity fully in Christ and how loved I am in him meant I took a step back to heal alot and look after myself.
  8. I love alone time and am sensitive.
  9. The dark parts of my story are real and somehow I have survived them. I am grateful sometimes.
  10. Having no kids myself has been an adjustment but I am happily childfree now and moving towards owning my path the way God intended.
  11. I don’t have a favourite music genre. I tend to change what I listen to and can shift from 90’s to r ‘n’ b to rock to recent hits to old school 80’s to very old school love/ romantic songs to worship music to more modern. I also like dancing to different styles.
  12. I am very close to the Lord and knowing him has been my greatest spiritual comfort and the greatest stability when it comes to my identity. He is everything. Creator of us and the universe and every tiny detail in it and every large plan in it.
  13. Trauma has at times made me feel ugly, worthless, stupid, less than but the Lord doesn’t see me that way.He views us as a piece of him; a divine masterpeice. The world however can make us forget who we are.
  14. When people hear or know parts of my story it can scare them. I have had reactions from strangers that indicate they sense some of what I have been through and it often makes them uncomfortable. Life can be scary but with God we will be ok.
  15. My new favourite food is probably Lamb, sweet potatoes, pears, matcha and coconut yoghurt. Not all together! I have a long list of new favourite foods actually after researching and cooking with food for the past however many years. Living with both food allergies and food chemical intolerances. I am grateful I can cook and I mostly enjoy it. If I wanted to be vegetarian I couldn’t be; I need the meat as a source of protein but I tend to stick to lamb, beef and chicken.
  16. I miss being able to go out and not care so much about food and my safety but I have adjusted to the new me and the new life I have and believe I have some amazing things to look forward to.
  17. I am 5’1 and as a small petite women I sometimes have people assuming i’m younger than 42. This is both a good and sometimes not so good thing. I plan on living my life the rest of my life and enjoying youthful times until I die.
  18. My favourite animal without a doubt is dogs. They are loyal, loving and often instinctive and protective.
  19. I believe the afterlife is far more beautiful than this life and I also believe if we are intentionally evil in this life then hell is also a final destination for a soul and Hell is not a fun party but a place of torment where one is disconnected from God.
  20. My spiritual experiences have at times been profound and included glimpses and experiences into both heaven and hell where I believe God was showing me both places are real and exist.
  21. I want to travel more and I believe as I research more about my food allergies and availability in certain countries of my food supply it could happen. I also have to consider my safety.
  22. Ironically, though I was afraid of travelling more as a women who could get hurt; my experiences with some men that have been the worst have happened in Australia.
  23. I believe in forgiveness but that healthy relationships are Gods intent for us. Single life as a women can be great but also challenging. I have had the extreme end of trauma in the relationship department but am looking forward to better times. 🙂 Gods hand is on single women like others and he has a special plan for us like others.
  24. One of my favourite things to do besides clothes shopping and cuddling my dog (and dancing) is cafe hopping. I love visitings cafes and taking in the atmosphere of each place. Often cafes can be intimate places as well as sometimes a little noisy. I love the culture around cafe life and the variety of different restaurants and cafes Australia has.
