This world may tell us our identity is in what we achieve, how powerful we are, what we own, if we win etc. The truth is our identity is in God. His ways are about Love. They are about choice, mercy and belief in him. This is why they say Satan’s kingdom; the kingdom of this world, is the opposite of our true value in God. Many people are living with an identity crisis because they are placing their value on what the world says they are rather than the fact that their value is in being a child of God. I am currently reading ‘Identity wars’ by Adrian Ebens. Its a quick read that can help people gain more clarity about if they are listening to God’s leading in their lives. Both genders struggle with knowing their place in this world, but it is possible to live in God’s will through knowing who’s we are. Don’t let the world swallow you up and spit you out until you are lost in who you really are. I know what that is like; it is a scary place to be. x
